Who is Mike?

Those new to the area and to “Ask Mike” sometimes have this question cross their mind. Mike is owner and President of Quality Service, Inc. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry is the only job he’s ever had. Back in 1973, before high school graduation, Mike started working in all aspects of the business. He had ten years of experience under his belt before Quality Service came to be in 1983.

Mike is the only NATE certified technician in the Lauderdale County area. NATE is the North American Technician Excellence organization, dedicated to excellence in HVAC service and installation.

He was the key to Quality Service’s involvement with ACCA. That’s the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, an organization dedicated to improving customer satisfaction, system design, higher quality standards and ethics in business.

Mike has spent innumerable hours in continuing education classes including serving as course advisor for the Voc. Tech. School at Newbern. He has also been certified and awarded by many manufacturers and training organizations for his expertise. He has held a MC-C Class air conditioning license longer than any other HVAC contractor in this area.

Mike exchanges ideas and information with others in the industry and out through affiliations such as The National Federation of Independent Businessmen and The Service Roundtable so that he may better serve Quality Service customers.
